FIFA World Cup Brazil 2014: Oliseh tips Eagles for round of 16

Former Nigeria captain, Sunday Oliseh, is quite confident that the African champions will paddle through their 2014 Fifa World Cup group to reach the round of 16.
Oliseh said he is "ecstatic" like his countrymen following Friday's World Cup draw in Bahia, Brazil that pitched Nigeria's Super Eagles in Group F alongside Argentina, Bosnia-Herzegovina and Iran.
The member of the Fifa Technical Study Group took time to talk on Nigeria's opponents ahead of next year's World Cup.
"The Nigerians are ecstatic, myself included, because we have Iran in the group - with all due respect to them I think we should be able to negotiate this encounter.
"We've also got Bosnia, who are playing for the first time in the World Cup finals as a nation. Our chances are pretty bright and it's looking interesting," Oliseh told CNN.
The former Borussia Dortmund and Juventus man also spoke of the prospect of the Super Eagles coming up against Lionel Messi.
He also reeled out the qualities

of the FC Barcelona talisman.
"Messi is one of the best to have ever played football. He can do everything except head the ball. The question is how do you stop him?
"You can't really if he's on a good day. What we need to worry about is Messi going to be healthy come 2014? If he is healthy, we have a problem. But we have nothing to fear - for the first time in a long time we feel we have nothing to lose," said the 39-year-old ex-Nigerian midfielder while on CNN analysing the World Cup draw.
Oliseh then warned that all 32 nations know "what is at stake" at the Mundial and believes it is not time to start celebrating or despairing over favourable or unfavourable draw.
"Every team going there knows what is at stake, it's no joke. You can dance to Copacabana (now because of the draw) but come six months your opponents might dance and that's the danger," he warned.
Oliseh made 63 appearances for Nigeria and scored four goals. He also played in two World Cups in 1994 and 1998 when he scored a stunner against Spain.
