The 12minutes goal from Italian Giuseppe Rossi was equalised by Nigeria’s Dike in 35th minutes and another goal from Shola Ameobi in the 39th minutes put the Super Eagles ahead of the Italian in the first half of the match.
Emmanuele Giacchanrini equalised for Italy in the 47th minutes.
The match which ended 2 – 2 draw was quite exciting. The Super Eagles really proved their worth as African champion.
