Gunmen yesterday killed two men, Alhaji Saidu Dalladi and Mallam Ado in Jigawa State.
The killing was confirmed by the Jigawa State Commandant of Nigerian Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), Mallam Muhammad Gidado while addressing newsmen in Dutse.
He stated that 42-year-old Dalladi of Tsohon Kafi quarters in Kazaure Local Government Area of Jigawa State was shot dead after he returned from Dawanau Market in Kano State.
The commandant said the corpse of the
deceased has been taken to Kazaure General Hospital while investigation continues.
Gidado however, stated that in another incidence, at the same day at Ringim Local Government Area of the state, at about 2a.m terrorists attacked and killed one Malam Ado at the railway quarters in the local government and went away with his sheep and cattle.
He added that the number of stolen sheep and cattle was unknown, adding that the remains of Mallam Ado have been buried .
